JENNY SACHA
Violin

Jenny studied with soloist Maurice Hasson at the Royal Academy of Music and Michelle Auclair at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Following her degrees she joined the award winning Pavao String Quartet where they held a two year post as Chamber Music Fellows at the Royal Academy of Music.

Jenny performs in all of Britain's most prestigious concert venues, London’s Wigmore hall, Royal Albert Hall, Purcell Room, Festival Hall, Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall, Gateshead’s Sage, and Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall to name a few. International performances have taken her to the US, Israel, China, Thailand, Dubai, and a whole host of European cities.

Her string quartet recording of works by English composers Elgar and Bax welcomed quotes of 'an intoxicating warmth and emotional spontaneity' (The Strad ), and 'an ensemble of real depth and musical distinction' (Classic FM Magazine).

Jenny performs with numerous other chamber groups around the UK and is recognised for her wealth of experience in this field. She complements her love of coaching chamber music with undergraduate students from the London music colleges. Recently she collaborated with international student composers doing online degrees, advising techniques to adopt when writing music for the violin, something she would like to expand upon in the future.

Jenny’s orchestral work sees her performing as a guest with The Orchestra of the Swan, Royal Ballet Sinfonia, Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Porto Symphony Orchestra, and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra. Solo performances in the UK include concertos with the Trafalgar Sinfonia, London Concertante, and most frequently with The Piccadilly Sinfonietta.

Alongside her concert schedule Jenny features on numerous film scores, TV series and pop tracks, recording most weeks in the iconic studios in London.

Jenny also has 3 lovely children, 2 cats and a Labrador call Donut, who lives up to his ridiculous name in style!
